Volunteer on the Farm

Volunteers are welcome daily!

Hope & Serenity Farm Sanctuary is a non-profit organization run entirely on donations. We rely heavily on our daily volunteers to get the farm chores done. We need help with animal feeding, grooming, barn clean-up, and other tasks. If you’re interested in becoming one of the trusty volunteers that keeps this place running, you’re in the right place!

IMPORTANT NOTICE! This page is for booking volunteer hours, which is appropriate for those willing and able to do farm labor. This is not a substitute for tours, which incur a fee and are separate. Looking to book a tour? Click here!

How to become a volunteer:

Before volunteering at the sanctuary, you must take a standard group tour to observe how the farm runs and meet the animals. Click here to book that if you have not already done so.

Once you complete your initial tour and are familiar with the facilities, you can volunteer any day of the week!

We need help every day (especially on the hottest summer days and coldest winter ones - rain, snow, or shine!)

For teenagers who plan to volunteer, please have your parent or guardian schedule a meeting with our director Renee to discuss our rules before your first volunteer session.

If you need community service or volunteer hours signed off, please meet with Renee before your first volunteer session. Your hours will not be signed off until you meet with Renee.

Book a Time to Volunteer

Thank you for donating your time and labor to help our sanctuary run!

After you complete your initial farm tour, you are welcome to use this system to book your volunteering dates. We need three adult volunteers every day and allow up to two teen volunteers daily to help the adults.

If you need to cancel a date you have committed to, PLEASE do so at least 48 hours in advance or we will be left without the help we need to care for our animals. To cancel, look in your confirmation email for the blue “Change/Cancel appointment” box.
